Quaesta et Indagato – Quest for Research
Quaesta et Indagato – Quest for Research is the inaugural event of the National Conference Committee, designed to introduce first-year law students of SLCU to the fundamentals of legal research and the Committee's role in fostering academic inquiry.
The event features an orientation on the Committee's work, followed by an interactive workshop where students can engage directly with members, clarify research-related queries, and gain guidance to build a strong foundation in legal research.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Shampa Dev

CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore
With 20+ years of experience in teaching, Dr. Shampa Dev has carved a niche for herself and developed expertise in Constitutional law, Jurisprudence, legal philosophy, and research. She has conducted training for faculty in curriculum development, research, pedagogy, and assessment in Universities. She has led the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in her department and has been instrumental in developing the strategic plan that chalks out the growth path and has conducted training on preparation for Academic Audits and Strategic Plan Development and Deployment. She has been a part of the School of Law, Christ for nine years and is the academic coordinator. With a stronghold over research in numerous disciplines, Ma’am has a strong inclination towards academia that made her give up her law practice to follow her true passion- to be a true and dedicated academician.
