Varini G is a legal researcher and public policy professional currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. Her work focuses on strengthening governance through evidence-based legal research and policy analysis, particularly in Karnataka. She collaborates with government institutions on issues related to local governance, urban development, decentralisation, and public administration, with the objective of improving the effectiveness and inclusivity of legal and policy frameworks.

Her research interests span urban governance, socio-economic rights, feminist legal theory, and participatory governance. Her work reflects a commitment to developing policies that promote equitable access to public services and strengthen democratic institutions. Through her contributions to policy research and government engagement, she seeks to bridge the gap between legal scholarship and practical governance, supporting reforms that are responsive to the needs of citizens.
